ACIA Charitable Support
The ACIA has always felt it important to give back to the community through charitable donations and involvement in charitable events. This year we are pleased to announce that the ACIA has donated $1,500 to Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids (BB4CK) which has been serving Calgary children and youth since 2002.

Beginning with 4 schools, BB4CK has expanded to provide nutrition to nearly 1500 children every day, in 90 schools. In addition, BB4CK has partnered with 70 organizations and community groups who are providing an additional 1800 breakfasts, lunches or healthy snacks each day. Together they have prepared and delivered almost 580,000 notorious meals.
Thanks to the timing of our donation, BB4CK will receive a matching $1,500 donation from Eric and Kathy Prosser through the Prosser Charitable Foundation. If you would like to know more about BB4CK and how you can get involved directly, visit their website at: www.brownbaggingit.org
If you have a charity that you believe the ACIA should get involved with next year, please let us know at info@irrigationalberta.org |
